Truly most of these specimens are labeled as Brandberg, but the actual pieces from from the mountain which is about 8 miles away from there. This specimen hosts a good quality doubly-terminated crystal of medium color Amethyst that is beautifully accented by lovely crystal growths of white/colorless Quartz on each side. Virtually damage free, and better in person, and real attractive "hand sized" Amethyst from this classic locality. The piece has great luster and sharpness to boot. Retail value is $800.
