Amethyst (doubly-terminated reverse scepters)

Item Description

This specimen is a great small cabinet size piece consisting of a decent quality, 1.9 cm, sharp, gemmy, prismatic, lavender, doubly-terminated "reverse" scepter crystals and simple prisms of Amethyst sitting atop grey modified rhombohedra of Calcite on with a very thin layer of underlain "Chlorite" on matrix. The main crystal actually has THREE distinct termintaions on one end - very unusual!! This piece is remarkable for Bolivia as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of for this country. This is one of the better pieces from the find for quality, aesthetics and overall appeal.
