Item Description

The classic Amethyst crystals from the Piedra Parada (formerly referred to as Las Vigas) area of Mexico have long been considered among the world’s finest examples of this purple variety of Quartz. This showy and eye-catching small cabinet display specimen features a 4.2 cm, excellent, very sharp, rather lustrous, GEMMY classic, purple colored crystal aesthetically intergrown with a few smaller Amethysts to create a nice three-dimensional group. A beautiful and elegant specimen, that is better in person. There is an indentation on the back of the termination of the main crystal, but it's fully crystallized (I looked at it with a loupe) and not damaged.
