Item Description

This less well-known French locale that has yielded some excellent amethyst and fluorite specimens, but mineral specimens, in general, are seldom on the market. This showy large and colorful large two-sided wedge is covered with pristine, sharply terminated, glassy, translucent, color-zoned, amethyst crystals with satin luster faces. The crystals rest on a striking banded base of color-zoned amethyst, colorless and smoky quartz. Excellent and uncommon large amethyst from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 1276.
