Item Description

A striking and uncommon, two-sided, pseudomorph from Irai and the Jaime Bird Collection. A large, doubly terminated, taped anhydrite crystal has been pseudomorphed and casted by light lavender amethyst crystals and chalcedony. The hollow interior of the cast is fully lined with sparkly amethyst crystals against the stark contrast of the snow-white chalcedony. The chalcedony mimics the bladed nature of the replaced anhydrite. The other side has a very nifty coating of sparkling amethyst crystals with a very nifty citrine-like interior color. The composition and sculptural attributes of this rare aesthetic casted psuedo are striking. Pristine. valued $500-600
