Two sharply terminated amethyst crystals are aesthetically intergrown on this sculptural large piece from recent finds at the Anahi Mine. The striking double termination on the large crystal is a super accent to the translucent to transparent crystals. The pretty purple color is in the form of blushes or zones inside the crystals rather than a solid hue. They resemble amethyst specimens from Brandberg, Namibia. The termination and prism faces are lustrous and frosted. Complete all-around and in good shape. Gentle bruising to both crystal terminations and contacting lower on the sides where other crystals once lay, but with no major damage per se, are noted, but in context of the beautiful shape and color are certainly only minimal detractions. Colorful, showy and highly representative amethyst from the locale, probably from the early 2000s era.
