A classy and classic plate of diverging amethyst crystals from the late 1980s finds at Amatitlan, Mexico. The terminations on the crystals are water-clear above the vivid grape-purple cores of the crystals. The crystals reach a long, 7.0 cm on this piece. The very trivial termination wear to a couple of the crystals is barely noticeable and is certainly not a detraction, as you can see. Eminently displayable from either side. Aesthetic and beautiful material from the Howard Belsky Collection. These old Guerrero pieces are hard to get today. Valued $700-900.
