Amethyst (beautiful faceted bead)

Brazilian Amethyst is some of the most well known and attractive Amethyst on the planet. This beautiful faceted bead has a beautiful purple color with superb clarity. I love the twisting form of the piece, with the attractive geometric "bar"-shaped facets. This is the kind of stone that I think makes a great novelty for a collector, or would certainly make a very attractive piece of jewelry for somebody with a February birthday as Amethyst is the birthstone for that month. Please note that there is a drill hole at the top of the stone - which is typical for these kind of bead - where you could attach the stone on a thin chain or a bail.
