Amethyst and Feldspar

Interesting and fascinating, this is one of the more unusual and attractive Amethyst clusters I have seen from Brandberg. Here is a Quartz seam encased by Feldspar, and rising from the seam are a dozen sharp Amethysts. Each has excellent luster and a deep, rich purple that you don't often see. The largest Amethyst is 1.7 cm, and it is the only crystal with a small ding - the others are pristine. The numerous Feldspars are euhedral and range up to .5 cm, with good luster and typical pinkish-tan color. Overall, this is an unusual and aesthetic cabinet piece.
