Item Description
Indian amethyst is far rarer than from the more well-known amethyst localities such as Brazil, Brandberg and Bolivia. The crystals have this incredibly intense gemminess to go along with the beautiful blush-purple color. The vug is strikingly accented by a large, 4.8 x 4.2 x 2.8 cm, tabular, translucent calcite rhomb and gorgeous, gem-like, water-clear, tabular, rhombs. The outer edge of the large calcite was contacted, with very little bruisng, against another calcite. This is stunning and rare combination material from Jalgaon. Valued at $400.
