Rare! Fine amethyst specimens are very uncommon from the famous mines at Naica. This showy large combination plate is richly covered with glassy amethyst points of varying sizes, with a pretty purple blush inside each one, and fine glassy luster. Crystals are up to 2.1 cm. Richly embedded adjacent to and on the amethysts are sparkly, colorless, calcite rhombs. The underlying matrix is a combination of galena and sphalerite. Essentially pristine. A real stunner for Naica. An older and rare combination piece out of the Consie Prince Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
