Item Description

A classic and excellent, two-sided, combination rib from the famous mines at Guanajuato. Pretty lilac, glassy amethyst crystals on the front are partially covered with sparkly, sugary, nubby clusters of tiny calcite rhombs. The back is totally covered with sugary calcite and has also a beautiful, 1.6 cm spray of glassy, dogtooth calcites in the lower lefthand corner. Periphery wear is noted, but is only a very modest detraction to this striking combination piece. Seldom will you see a Guanajuato combination amethyst with calcite in this quality.
