Item Description
A classic Amethyst specimen from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The piece features a few very sharp, highly lustrous, rich purple colored, gemmy hexagonal crystals, free of matrix. There is a tiny bit of roughness in a few spots, and it has separation marks around the periphery where it was connected to additional Amethyst crystals at some points, but still a showy and colorful example from one of the most prolific Amethyst producing areas on Earth.
