Amethyst

Item Description

When it comes to Amethyst, one of the top localities in the world for the material is Piedra Parada (Las Vigas) which had produced some gorgeous specimens over the decades. This miniature sized specimen features a trio of very sharp, highly lustrous, very gemmy hexagonal prisms with a rich purple color on the upper portions that transitions into white / colorless at the base. A small pedestal of matrix makes for a nice touch. The piece is in very good shape, but there are a few small nicks that prevent it from being 100% perfect.
