Item Description
A classic example of the famous Jackson Crossroads Amethysts featuring many very sharp, well-formed, very lustrous, "stubby" crystals sitting on a thin "rib" of Quartz matrix. The terminations are a beautiful purple hue with nearly white / colorless Quartz in the centers of the crystals. The crystals are very gemmy inside, and the piece only has a few contacts, but is good quality overall. Classic material from one of the premier Amethyst localities in the world. The largest Amethyst measures 2.1 cm. Originally priced at $300 in the inventory. The piece was mined in November of 2016, and the label states that it came from "Linda's Pocket".
