A gorgeous, deeply colored cluster of gemmy, lustrous, deep-purple Amethyst crystals from the famous Erongo Region of Namibia. This specimen is dominated by six beautiful crystals, the largest of which is 3.2 cm long. Complete, except only on the periphery. This is a significant locality piece as few true Brandberg specimens are this purple (and the feldspar matrix underneath is characteristic of the Brandberg Park area, not Goboboseb). The Amethysts are in excellent condition, and the uniformity of the color gives the upper halves of the crystals a deep, grape juice purple color saturation. The overall look: A deep purple sky sitting over the clear, gemmy horizon, if you will. An excellent specimen. valued $500-750
