Item Description

This specimen is a great miniature size piece consisting of good quality, sharp, gemmy, highly lustrous, prismatic, purple crystals of Amethyst measuring to 3.1 cm associated with white sharp, modified scalenohedra of Calcite on underlain forest-green color "Chlorite" on matrix. This is one of the better pieces from the find for quality, aesthetics and overall appeal. There are few of these left, so if you are a Quartz collector, get your hands on one now, as the mine has produced nothing in at least five years.
