Amber with MULTIPLE insect inclusions

When it comes to Amber, there are a fair number of localities around the world for the material, but collectors love Dominican Amber because it is some of the best quality in terms of clarity and color. The popularity of Amber really started to spike after it was featured in the first Jurassic Park film, and whether you consider this to be a fossil or a mineral specimen, you can't deny that it's just plain cool. These pieces are beloved because sometimes they feature superb insect "fossils" frozen within. This wonderful toenail sized piece of this well-known material is filled with a few insects inclusions (possibly mosquitos or gnats that are clearly visible through the transparent golden Amber host material. Often we only seen a single insect inclusion in these pieces, so to have MULTIPLE insects like this is a real treat. Typically, these pieces are just "lumps", but this one is an attractive "limb" with excellent clarity.
