Amber with MULTIPLE insect inclusions

Collectors love Dominican Amber because it is some of the best quality material in the world. These pieces are beloved because many of them feature superb insect "fossils" frozen within. This is a wonderful cabinet sized pieces of this well-known material filled with several insects inclusions (possibly mosquitos, gnats or ants) that are clearly visible through the transparent Amber host material. This kind of Amber was made famous in films like Jurassic Park, and whether you consider this to be a fossil or a mineral specimen, you can't deny that it's just plain cool. Often we only seen a single insect inclusion in these pieces, so to have multiple insects like this is a real treat. It's not easy to find pieces like this on the market, and we were fortunate to get our hands on this one because a good friend had a small parcel stashed from years ago that we picked up a few months back.
