Item Description
A beautiful specimen of Amber from the Dominican Republic featuring a very well-preserved flying insect (most likely a species of fly or mosquito) frozen inside. This material is always popular on the market, and even though its more of a fossil than a mineral, it's still a cool display piece of this well known material. This material comes from the Colombian rainforest, and the Amber itself formed 14 million years ago during the Miocence Epoch.
