Item Description
This is a nice, large, smooth, elliptical piece of Amber associated with a minor amount of matrix. The Amber is a dark honey color with a satin luster and is translucent in hand and it's obvious that its transparent when holding it up to the light. A couple of nicks on one end indicate that it may be more yellow on the interior. The gray spots of matrix contrast well with the honey colored Amber. 47.72 grams. This is CRETACEOUS age amber, as in dinosaur era!
