Item Description

This locality is obviously best known for it's attractive Topaz crystals, which are some of the best from the United States, but this classic granitic pegmatite has also produced some attractive soft green Amazonite specimens. This piece features several sharp, LUSTROUS, well-formed pale blue-green Amazonite crystals which are associated with thin acicular prismatic black Tourmaline (Schorl) to create a very pretty dual-tone colored specimen. The largest Amazonite measures 1.7 cm long. A really cool display piece of NON-Colorado Amazonite from this famous locality near Hawthorne.
