Amazonite w/ Schorl (rare)

Item Description

Two sides of this large, textbook, sharp, near-floater amazonite crystal are richly encrusted with rare tiny schorl needles on this impressive and rare combination from the Zapot pegmatite. The lustrous crystal has areas of rich turquoise-blue color plus commonly seen zones of cream color. Complete all-around and in great shape. Part of one side is contacted, with little damage and is out-of-sight in the preferred display views. An important and rare amazonite combination from this locale.
