Item Description
This outstanding and aesthetic combination piece is from the Robert Bartsch Collection and from an obscure Crystal Peak area mine. The crystals have fabulous form, very pretty rich blush turquoise-blue color, luster and are beautifully accented by the cluster of cleavelandite blades. The striking notch adds super architecture to this piece. Complete all-around and pristine, this superb piece is UNREPAIRED, a rarity in itself. It displays great, without aid. Bartsch was a noted California field collector and collector. He passed away in 2014 and here is a link to a fine article written by his friend, Rock Currier: http://www.mindat.org/article.php/2158/Robert+Bartsch+++RIP++1939+to+2014. Fairly valued at $2500-3000 and worth it.
