Quality large amazonite and smoky quartz combinations are uncommon and desirable from the well-known Moat Mountain pegmatite. Bi-colored, turquoise-blue and cream-colored amazonite crystals are aesthetically clustered amidst glassy, translucent, richly colored smoky quartz crystals on this choice combination. The pristine central amazonite is 3.0 cm and the large smoky is 4.0 x 4.0 cm. The modest bit of smoky termination brusing and scattered broken smaller smokies are noted, but have minimal impact to excellent quality of this large piece. From an East Coast collection.
