Amazonite / Microcline with Topaz

Item Description

A wonderful association specimen from this pegmatite locality featuring Amazonite / Microcline which are studded with beautiful jewel like crystals of colorless Topaz measuring up to 9 mm. The majority of the underlying feldspar is white Microcline, but the top of one of the terminations with clearly a blue-green color. Additionally, the Microcline / Amazonite has excellent luster on the crystal faces. There are not many localities in the world that produce Amazonite and Topaz together on the same specimen, and this is more than a reference piece, it's a good display specimen of this seldom seen materia.
