Item Description
This is a wonderful display specimen from one of the most storied and well known districts in Colorado. The pegmatites near the Lake George area of Colorado have produced what most collectors and dealers consider to be the finest Amazonite specimens from the standpoint of superb color, top quality, wonderful display specimens and excellent associations. This particular specimen features a fine quality, sharp blocky, bright blue-green crystal Amazonites. Good color and quality for the material, and it's not easy to find attractive thumbnails of this material. This specimen was collected over 35 years ago (September of 1980) by Dave Bergman who is the maternal grandfather of Brian Kosnar.
