Item Description
Here is an unusual and very showy piece in that the amazonites have striking vugs and caverns, where the enclosing feldspar has been etched away. The stark white feldspar matrix provides a beautiful contrast with the amazonites. The lustrous sharp amazonites have beautiful robins-egg blue color. The largest of the crystals measures 5.0 cm across. Fine and strange looking material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by him at $300, five or more years ago. The crystals look worm eaten.
