Amazonite

Amazonite is known from a few places in the world in fine color crystals, i.e., Colorado, Brazil, etc. Russia is one of the classic sources for Amazonite in the world. This material is sometimes crystallized, but the color can be superb, and many of them show classic white banding. This particular stone is a beautiful rich blue-green color, "Freeform Cabochon" cut gem, with white streaks running throughout. It would make a great addition to a Feldspar suite, or even an Amazonite gem collection.
