Item Description

Alumotungstite was a valid species for years, but it's now discredited and is considered to be an aluminium-rich variety of Hydrokenoelsmoreite. This piece comes from the Drakelands Mine (Hemerdon Mine) in Devon, England and features small yellow semi-spherical groups on matrix. This material, regardless of what it's called is only reported from four places in the world, so this is a great opportunity to pick up an extremely rare specimen for your collection. This is the only piece of this species that we've had to offer from this locality, and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
