Item Description

A very rare and rich telluride combination specimen from this extremely obscure locality. The front of the piece is densely composed of bright silver-metallic altaite platelets with the smaller crystals at the pointed end having a pretty iridescent green color. Micro bright bronze-yellow coloradoite crystals/platelets are scattered about the quartz-rich matrix, with a higher concentration noted on the back. There is also a MAJOR for the piece, large (4 mm), sharp rounded unknown crystal (coloradoite?) on the pointed end. VERY RARE and important combo material from this locality from a major rarities collection through the Fersman Museum.
