Item Description

Mineral specimens of any type are RARE from this obscure Virginia pegmatite. This is an outstanding and sharp large almandine garnet crystal attached to a bit of quartz matrix. The lustrous dodecahedron is mostly black with the scattered reddish-brown areas adding color and pizzazz. Choice, rare and desirable Virginia almandine from the Allen Penick Collection. Value??
