Sharp, lustrous, almandine garnet dodecahedrons have beautiful zones of cherry-red to orange-red translucence on this attractive large 3-dimensional specimen from this well-known Norway locale. The aesthetically scattered garnets reach 2.5 cm on the mica schist. Classic and excellent material from the Matioli Collection.
