Item Description

A large, sharp and uncommon almandine garnet from this obscure large underground Manitoba mine. The highly lustrous, textbook, dark raspberry-red dodecahdron has beautiful areas of cherry-red gemminess. The small bit of bruising is certainly only a modest detraction. Seldom on the market in this size and quality. 89 grams mass. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
