Item Description
A sharp, equant, almandine garnet dodecahedron from Erongo Mountain. The highly lustrous crystal has deep wine-red color with flashy areas of pretty cranberry-red gemminess. Almandines are very rare from here and are seldom available. Old-time material. Complete all-around and pristine. Contacting on the base is noted, but has no damage, per se. Ex Mullane Collection and comes with a faded Burminco label from the 1950s or 60s. 38 grams.
