Item Description

Equant, well-formed dodecahedrons of almandine garnet aesthetically scattered on mounded matrix of muscovite schist. The almandines have high luster and a rich reddish-brown color. Translucent highlights of a rich red interior can be seen when the crystals are backlit. The well-placed large crystal is 2.2 cm. Trivial edgewear is noted to two of the almandines.
