A 3.0 cm, sharp, lustrous, mottled wine-red almandine garnet dodecahedron is aesthetically set on a shard of schist matrix on this showy and excellent miniature from this less well-known Manitoba district noted for excellent almandine specimens. Flashes of cherry-red color add much pizzazz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised corner. Choice and uncommon matrix material in the quality from the Marty Lewadny Collection.
