Item Description

A well-defined dodecahedral almandine garnet crystal from the classic Colorado locale of Sedalia. The lustrous faces are mottled rust-brown and attached green chlorite schist is visible in a couple of areas. This crystal is contacted on several faces, but remains a highly representative example of the species and famous Colorado locale. Ex John Fender Collection.
