Item Description
This almandine crystal out of the garnet suite of Bill Larson is extremely impressive - particularly for an American garnet! It is complete and pristine floater with lustrous, etched faces. This is a textbook trapezohedral crystal with very sharp faces and deep raspberry-red color. Most collectors are not familiar with these Idaho garnets, impressive as they are, because they are not common on the market. This is a truly impressive translucent example and it GLOWS when backlit! It was collected in the Summer of 2009.
