Item Description
A fine old-time almandine garnet dodecahedron from the classic Colorado locality of Sedalia. The mottled brown faces are moderately lustrous to matte and attached green chlorite schist is visible in several areas. From an East Coast collection and comes with an old faded and water-stained label. A highly representative old-time example of the species and famous Colorado locale. This old former copper-gold-silver-lead mine is near Salida.
