Allophane (fine blue color) with Creedite

From a discovery in 2020, here we have a wonderful and showy lightweight crust of almost "ribbon"-like or somewhat banded blue Allophane. This brightly colored piece of this aluminum species has an almost flowing and ethereal form to it. The quality, character and overall appearance make for a unique and eye-catching specimen. The variable blue color is excellent for the species, though it grades into white in some areas. It's not a heavy specimen but beautiful to be sure, due to the aluminum content. Looking closely, I found some tiny pale lilac aggregates of Creedite on the specimen, which is quite rare for this material.
