Item Description
Allemontite is the old name for Stibarsen, an alloy of Arsenic and Antimony. This rare and colorful sawed and polished layered ore slab is highlighted by the thick massive gray stibarsen vein, that hosts a colorful red vein and ribbons of granular sphalerite. Quartz layers add color and contrast to this rich and rare ore specimen from this well-known extinct silver-uranium mine at famed Pribram. Choice combination material from the Josef Vajdak Collection (Pequa Minerals), a noted Czech specialist. Ex David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named.
