Item Description

The old name for Stibarsen is "Allemontite", which actually dates back to 1772. There are actually a few types of "Allemontite", but none of them are actual species, it's either Stibarsen or sometimes can be confused for Paradocrasite. This is a good reference specimen from the historic locality at Pribram featuring brownish-grey "Allemontite" on matrix. This piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value. You can read Joe's biography here: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=1371
