Item Description
Sculptural plate of well formed sharp blocks of white Albite that is mostly covered with silvery-grey green Chlorite. The Albite appears as distinctive individual crystals rising up from the base at different levels. The largest center Albite measures 3.5 cm wide and 4 cm tall. The piece is near-pristine condition with only minor periphery edge wear. Nice sharp Feldspars are an underrated collectible especially when they have interesting secondary accents like this sparkling Chlorite coated specimen from Massachusetts. Ex. Lee B. Burnett Collection. This is an old classic of the East Coast crowd, and fairly rare on the market these days.
