Sparkly chlorite microcrystals preferentially cover the textbook sharp, snow-white albite variety pericline crystals on this aesthetic and sculptural specimen from the famous St. Gotthard Massif of Switzerland. The pericline crystals reach 3.2 cm. A very fine two-sided piece, with great form of variably-sized crystals. Nearly pristine, with only light bruising to two crystals. Such fine combination pieces are rare from this well-known locale. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection. And a VERY good albite, in any case!
