Item Description

Pericline is a relatively uncommon variety of albite. Textbook sharp, lustrous, white pericline crystals form a showy and aesthetic specimen from Alchuri, Pakistan. The crystals reach 2.3 cm and all of them have a secondary overgrowth or slight etching. Glassy diopside crystals are embedded in the matrix on the back of the piece.
