Albite var. Cleavelandite w/ Tourmaline (Bill Larson Coll.)

Cleavelandite is a typical accessory species from the famous Himalaya Mine, but RARELY do you see them as a fine single species specimen, such as this. Two intergrown jackstraw rosettes of pearlescent blades compose this sculptural cutie. AND a 6 mm gem pink pencil tourmaline on the top is super complement. Self-collected by Bill's son Will Larson in 1990s, this was then in the company collection for decades since. Ex Bill Larson San Diego County Pegmatite Collection and long on display at his Pala International shop in Fallbrook. An outstanding small cabinet cleavelandite from the Himalaya.
