Albite on Quartz

Item Description

Classic combination from the 3000 m clefts at Piz Beverin in the Swiss Alps. This choice small cab features tabular, translucent Albite crystals, up to 3.8 cm, dancing around a cluster of glassy and sharp Quartz crystals. The largest Quartz is 5 cm, and, although it has a small contact on the back side, all the terminations are gemmy and attractive. This was #12,915 in Kay's collection, and it is better in person.
