Item Description
An EXTREMELY RARE combination piece from the Melelani Hills. Two, intergrown, sharp, octahedral, gray alabandite crystals, to 1.0 cm, are set in matrix near a field of mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyrite and gorgeous, bright green, tremolite crystals to 2.6 cm. Much of the matrix is composed of milky-white pectolite lathes. Not very aesthetic, but it's a really rare combo from this noted locale. Alabandite and pectolite are NOT listed in MINDAT for the locale. Value???
