Item Description
A striking edge phantom of pleasing, powder-blue ajoite is dramatically included in the termination of a sharp, nearly transparent, quartz crystal from the recent at the famous Messina Mine of South Africa. Four sides of the crystal are preferentially coated with iron oxides making for a very showy piece. The glassy crystal faces are very lightly frosted. Pristine. This is an excellent, highly representive thumbnail example of the ultra-rare copper silicate, named after its discovery locality, the New Cornelia Mine, Ajo, Arizona.
